July
4th, 2005 - monday
First,
here's the new
Copper comic.
Secondly,
I'm back in California and I'm thankfully returning to my old
work habits again. You know, growing up in Southern California,
it hardly ever occurred to me that I was living in a desert. After
spending a month in New York, it came to me like a smack in the
face when I landed in LAX. This place really is the wild west,
only sparsely covered up by mini-malls and displaced tropical
plant life. So, howdy pardners! It's good to be back in this dustball
town and cranking away at comics again. Thanks to everyone who
came out to the graphic narrative workshop at Nucleus.
The response has been really great, so it looks like we'll be
doing it again in the near future. This week, I'll be preparing
for the San Diego
Comic-Con, as well continuing to search for a new apartment
for Amy and me. Along with some more freelance work and development
for both my Flight story and my new graphic novel, I should be
kept pretty busy. Looks like it's back to the cave...
Happy
4th of July everyone. May your barbecues be tasty.
