I've never done a piece in the vein of traditional fantasy before, so here's my first try at it...

People seem pretty surprised to see me paint something like this, and then I realize that nobody gets to see the work I generally do to put food on the table. It's been pretty deliberate on my part to keep all the non-comics/cartoon stuff off the site, but maybe it would be a good idea to set up a section on my site for stuff like this. No?
