Thanks
to everyone who sent me kind words of support! It's so reaffirming
to see my inbox full of messages from people offering me a space
on their couch or even offering to send me their actual couch!
Hehe. Thank you so much.
:)
Okay,
so now that I'm sitting here full-time in the captain's seat,
let's take a look at a few of things I want to take care of at
boltcity...
First
order of business is webhosting. My bandwidth is getting to
be a problem. I push somewhere in the neighborhood of 50 gigs
of traffic a month between two sites. On one of my sites I am
going way over my limit but it doesn't seem to be bothering my
host (for now...). If anybody has any good leads on solid webhosting
services at an affordable rate, please
let me know. I'd really like to consolidate boltcity under
one domain. (You folks ever notice the "boltcity.net"
domain on the images and copper comics? Hehe.) Currently, I am
looking at speakeasy.net
for their professionalism and supposedly unlimited bandwidth.
What do you all
think?
Secondly,
there will be more webcomics. While my priority will be getting
Flight Volume One
and the 100-page Daisy Kutter story done and out the door,
I also have a couple of projects I had been wanting to introduce
on the site with very frequent, regular updates. As soon as the
Daisy project is firmly underway, I will start cobbling together
those projects right here on the site.
On
a side note...
My
friend has started a website
for career-oriented women in the LA area. She would love to
get some feedback from you folks if you have any. Go
check it out!
