You'll Know Where to Send the Ambulance______ January 15th, 2004 - thursday___

Man, I am feeling sick as a dog today. *cough* *cough* *wheeze* *struggle*... I can't speak, my head is pounding, and I feel like I'm breathing through a straw. I realized while I was at the market shopping for echinacea and orange juice, that the human voice is something we shouldn't take for granted. Now, I know that sounds stupid, but I never realized how many people I talk to on any given day, just to carry out simple chores or run errands, until I simply couldn't. Whenever people came up to me to ask if I needed help looking for something, or to just say hello, I felt like running way (not that I don't do that anyway...) Hey, so where does that saying "sick as a dog" come from? I really haven't seen very many sick dogs...

Here's the promo for Viper Comics I mentioned in my last post:

Thanks to all of you kind people who ordered prints this past week! I'll try to get all the prints sent out to you by this weekend.

Going back to bed now...
