So, it’s only a month until the release of Flight 3. Amazon has a new review from Publisher’s Weekly up on their site, so it looks like the preview copies have been going out. I can’t wait to get my hands on a copy of the final book. When I was going through the proof pages, I couldn’t help but smile from both relief and joy, seeing that the book was very good. On that note, I’m back at my regular pace on Amulet. It’s looking good right now as I’m nearing page 100 at the layouts stage. I have a few more expository scenes to move through until I can go full tilt on the grand finale.
Also, I recently read the new volume of Scott Pilgrim by Bryan Lee O’Malley. I really enjoyed it. This series is a gem, and I wish there were more like it out there. Along with this book, Amy and I picked up The Bakers – "Do These Toys Belong Somewhere?" by Kyle Baker. Another excellent read, full of funny vignettes about the Bakers’ home life. Both these books are highly recommended.
