A Time to Grow Up

First all the ridiculous exclusivity contracts with artists, and now this. All these decisions based on the fear of losing things and the comics industry wonders why readers and creators alike want to leave it. The characters in superhero mythology are supposed to lead by example, to act with dignity and values that we don’t necessarily see in our day-to-day lives, but wished we did. If the purveyors of these ideas are just a bunch of sissy bullies that don’t believe in their own material, then why should any sensible reader want to buy their garbage?

This trademark thing has apparently been going on for some time, but after seeing this today, I felt I should rant a bit before going back to writing.  Okay, back to work…
